How to Build a Hut
This hut stands on nine, two-inch-thick, concrete paving slabs. Each slab is 2ft square (600mm x 600mm). The kind of slab you can find in any builder's merchant or garden centre. Dig down until you hit solid sub-soil, add some 'type one' (crushed rock) and use sand to bed the slab and get it level.
